First, enable the settings.
Set the point amount and press "Save" to complete the setup.
Setting up the Birthday reward feature
To use the birthday feature, a setup from our company is required.
If you wish to enable this feature, please contact us using the link provided, here.
The birthday field will be displayed in two places: the account creation (new member registration) page and the account page.
New customers
For customers who are not registered yet, they can enter their birthday during the account creation process.
If the new member registration page is configured using apps like Custom Fields, compatibility with easyPoints' birthday feature may not be available. In such cases, customers should not provide their birthday during the registration process. Instead, they need to register their birthday through the birthday input field on the account page after completing the membership registration.
Existing Customers
For customers who are already registered, the birthday input field will be displayed on the account page.
Customers will need to enter their birthday themselves on the input screen.
Customers can only receive this birthday point reward once a year.
(Therefore, even if the birthday is updated after receiving the birthday points, the points will not be awarded until a year has passed since the last birthday points were received.)
If You Already Have Existing Customers' Birthday Information
If you already have your customers' birthday information, for example, if you are migrating from another e-commerce site to Shopify, you can use Shopify's CSV feature to migrate the existing customers' birthday information.
First, export the customer registration information using Shopify's CSV feature.
Next, add the birthday information to the "Note" column as follows: "birthday: yyyy-mm-dd"
*Note: Please make sure to enter "birthday:" (with a space) followed by "yyyy-mm-dd."
If there is no space, the birthday information will not be correctly reflected, so please be careful.
Finally, import the updated CSV file using the CSV import feature.
Please note that this functionality is provided by Shopify, not by our easyPoints system.
Also, if any issues occur with points reflection due to input errors or other reasons related to the birthday information, our company cannot be held responsible.
