During the custom integration, the modifications primarily focus on the product page, the account page, and the cart page.Themes developed individually or themes created by third party apps may not be compatible with our custom integration.
One integration per theme
Product variations with distinct prices may also have differing point displays. However, this is done by adjusting the various themes and is not done automatically. If the product variations are added post-integration, please contact our support team for free theme adjustments.
"Shipping free" applications
Once the integration is implemented, the cart page will have a "Point form" for redeeming points above the subtotal. The total points gained from the purchase will display beneath the subtotal. Upon points redemption, the subtotal will change to the price with the points subtracted, which may be less than the "shipping free" requirements. In such cases, free shipping will not be available at checkout.
Cart variations
In Shopify, carts come in two types: 'page type' and the 'drawer type'. Some online stores use both, but our integration will apply the "Point form" to only one of the two types.
If the point form is implemented to the drawer type cart, consider the following limitations.
- The point form resets each time the drawer is opens
- Redeemed points remain used post-checkout. (You will not be able to re-use them)
- The display for points gained per product will not be available
There are drawer type cart pages that are compatible to the integration, but we strongly recommend the use of the page type for the cart page.
