Setting up the point rules is simple and easy.
Rewarding a Customer
First, you set the number of points a customer will receive for the amount they spend. For example, spending 100 yen will earn the customer 1 point. We recommended making points as close as to the currency being used to make the purchase to make it less confusing for customers.
Please note, points earned are calculated by the ratio in the settings above and the points are rounded up to a whole number.
For example, if rewarding setting is 100 JPY = 1 Points and if a customer purchases 1001 JPY worth of product, they will receive 11 points. If a customer spends 10 JPY, customer will still earn 1 points.
Receiving the Points
Customers only receive their points earned from purchases once the order fulfillment status is updated from unfulfilled to fulfilled.
In the settings, you can choose how many days the customers will receive their earned points after fulfillment.
This setting can be useful to mitigate customers from potentially abusing the point system by purchase products using points and returning the product immediately.
Expiration
Set the number of months the points will expire from the customers points balance after the last fulfilled order. This includes points awarded for purchases, actions, birthdays, and individual allotments.
A customer is inactive is considered inactive when their points balance is zero.
Please note, you can not set expiration for a free plan.
